Firm Overview

Politis, Nangano & Politis was founded by combining two existing firms of Politis & Politis and Streeter & Nangano. Politis & Politis was founded in 1996 by the father and son team of John N. Politis and Nicholas J. Politis; while Streeter & Nangano was founded by Michael A.J. Nangano in 2002. The roots of the new firm originate from the more than eighty-five years of combined practice of law by Messrs. John N. Politis, Michael A.J. Nangano and Nicholas J. Politis.

John N. Politis in his 40-plus years of experience included several years with the United States Department of Justice, New York, New York and 20-plus years as a shareholder and/or equity partner in several well-known California based law offices. Mr. Nangano in his 22-plus years of experience began his career at Hillsinger & Costanzo and he was a shareholder at Burke, Williams & Sorensen, LLP, where he expanded his corporate representation and he has 15-plus years as a shareholder and/or an equity partner. Nicholas J. Politis in his 25-plus years of experience includes several years with Mr. Nangano at Hillsinger & Costanzo and prior to that he worked at Nagele, Knopfler, Pierson & Robertson, and he has 14-plus years of expertise as a shareholder and/or equity partner.

The firm has since been joined by other partners from larger firms, bringing that same "sought after" experience and expertise; especially in the handling of broad-based insurance defense and business litigation. Mr. Nangano is "AV" rated which is the highest rating bestowed for professional competence and integrity by the legal rating service Martindale-Hubbell.
