Rates
We accept clients at both an hourly rate or on a fixed fee basis
, depending on our assessment of the case and our clients' needs.
The overwhelming majority of the Firm's representations
are on its hourly rate structure; however, we are
prepared, in certain situations, to discuss and
enter into alternative billing arrangements in unique
and selected matters. These arrangements may include
fixed fee, reduced hourly rates in conjunction with
partial contingency fees, reduced fees upon volume
of cases, and, in the appropriate cases, contingency
fees.
We understand that outstanding results utilizing
cost-effective litigation services are the keys
to client satisfaction. Our law firm was
formed from partners from larger firms who now have
the ability to provide that same high level of service
and skill to clients, but with lower operating overhead
and lower hourly rates compared to major law firms
with comparably skilled and experienced partners.
For example, the hourly rates of our lawyers are
generally half as much as the per hour fees of attorneys
in the Los Angeles area with similar experience
and skills. In other words, our clients receive
the same high quality service our clients have always
been accustomed to, but with a much greater overall
cost effectiveness.
We also strive to work as efficiently
and effectively as possible with the accounting
departments of our clients. Our billing formats
and statements for our hourly clients are based
upon detail and accountability, so that each task
worked on and the time associated with that individual
task is listed. We structure our legal services
for efficiency to keep costs and expenses as reasonably
related as possible to the clients' needs and legal representation. |
